Zentrum für naturheilkundliche Forschung der TU München
Bereits seit Mitte der 90er Jahre erstellt das Zentrum für naturheilkundliche Forschung (ZnF) an der II. Medizinischen Klinik und Poliklinik der TU München Cochrane-Reviews (vorwiegend) zu komplementärmedizinischen Interventionen. Insgesamt ist das ZnF in 10 Cochrane-Reviews für sechs verschiedene Collaborative Review Groups involviert. Sechs der Reviews entstanden unter Federführung des ZnFs, bei zwei wurde jedoch für die Aktualisierung die Federführung inzwischen abgegeben.
Das ZnF war maßgeblich an der Etablierung und Weiterentwicklung des Cochrane Complementary Medicine Fields beteiligt. Für das Complementary Medicine Field wurde außerdem bis 2001 eine Sammlung und Analyse von systematischen Reviews in diesem Bereich durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse dieser Aktivitäten wurden international publiziert (siehe unten).
